Context
The Czech market lacks comprehensive, clinically-grounded digital mental health tools in the local language. Existing solutions are either generic wellness trackers without therapeutic depth, or clinical systems that are inaccessible to non-specialist users. This project addresses that gap directly.
Core Modules
The architecture decomposes into four primary functional domains, each with distinct data models, privacy requirements, and interaction patterns:
Mood Tracking (RULER Method) - Structured emotional self-reporting using the evidence-based RULER framework (Recognise, Understand, Label, Express, Regulate). The module tracks mood over time and feeds those trends into the personalisation engine.
Digital Diary - A private, end-to-end encrypted journaling module with sentiment analysis as an opt-in non-intrusive layer. Prompts are dynamically adjusted based on the user’s current emotional state and diagnostic baseline.
Sleep Monitoring - Passive data collection via device sensors and optional wearable integration. The module correlates sleep quality metrics with mood entries to surface actionable pattern insights without pathologising normal variation.
Crisis Intervention (SOS Module) - A hardened, always-accessible emergency pathway. The module provides graded intervention options: from grounding exercises and breathing protocols to direct contact with crisis lines. Architectural requirement: this module must remain accessible even in degraded connectivity states, meaning critical assets are cached offline by default.
Current Status
Work in Progress / Architecture Design Phase. The system architecture and module specifications are complete. The clinical collaboration framework and the integration spec are in active development. Engineering implementation begins following finalisation of the privacy architecture review.
The design groundwork is intentionally robust: the decisions made at this phase determine whether the application can eventually operate within a certified clinical context or remains a consumer product. That distinction is being taken seriously from the start.
